Ghost and Roses
For my birthday in 2003 (nevermind how old I was), Tony and Richard sent me a large bouquet of roses. They were beautiful and filled the room with an incredibly powerful scent. Even my hack job of arranging them turned out nice. I wanted to take pictures before they faded and died, but I could not find all the various camera parts. Disappointingly, I noticed petals were already gathering at the base of the vase after only one day. I could not believe that--the price and expense of those flowers, and they were going right out of the box? Well, in the end, the roses managed to hang on for almost 2 weeks; they were not dropping dead....they were being eaten. Ghost took one look at the flowers and knew they were, actually, HERS, and started munching. She kept away when she saw us, but at the end of the two weeks, when the flowers had started to turn, she figured it didnt matter any more, and chewed away boldy in front of us. Here are the photos, taken over a few days, of Ghost dispatching with her 'salad.'

Oh no, not me, I am not doing anything to the flowers,

no sir-ee, ut- uh....

Hmm, this one looks like it should taste pretty good...
